Today’s improv is brought to you by the nostalgic feelings of reflection while watching the sun set on another day.
There’s something always bittersweet about the titian complexion of late afternoon—it’s another morning come and gone, never to return. We pass through time helplessly and hopelessly; an adrift, anchorless ship on calm waters. We can’t return to the shore, and we can’t see the land ahead. All we can do is observe the ocean and admire the rhythm of each day’s sun.
